What does it take to get a teenager up early on a Saturday? Pancakes? Cartoons? In this episode of the Glowing Nose podcast, Nick Staron and field reporter Bethany Williams interview young people at a local speech and debate tournament. These competitions take place on most weekends during the school year for youth in public and home schools. This episode certainly looks at the humorous side of this intense competition, but we want to emphasize the importance of learning how to defend what you believe.
