In writing the role of Terry, the creators of the film wanted to present a woman that was strong, morally upright, but not at all pushy. She is the anti-Andrea. Terry is a lawyer and is the person acting on behalf of the controlling Andrea Wyler. “A lot of the female characters in Christian films tend to be stuffy,” says writer Chris Staron. “With Terry, we wanted to show that a godly woman could be exciting and unafraid to enjoy life without compromising herself morally. She acts as a comedic catalyst and a good point of tension for the family. Jhey plays the role very well. It would be hard to imagine this part being filled by anyone else.”
Jhey Castles (Terry) currently lives in Los Angeles. Her other motion picture credits include “The Visitation”. Though she died in the opening credits, we argue that nobody could have done it like her! Other film and TV credits include “Death Rattle”, “Wind Up Country Countdown”, and “Avida Loco”. You may also recognize her from a national toy commercial. Jhey was a competitive figure skater for 10 years, an Art major and Theater Arts minor at the University of Central Oklahoma, and was one of the few to complete the Chicago Marathon in 2007. She now performs monthly with a band at the Cat Club on Sunset Boulevard.
